This is a little longer than we usually post, but this dog REALLY needs your help RIGHT NOW!

We’ve just received an urgent plea to help Diva, a beautiful dog in North Carolina who may be out of time as early as Tuesday morning.

She came into the shelter and seems to have recently had puppies, but no one knows what happened to them. She appears very sad and confused, but volunteers tell us she’s extremely loving, gentle, and quiet.

Please help by doing what you can to get the word out to potential adopters and rescue groups in the area, which is about an hour and a half from Raleigh and around two hours from Fayetteville.

For more info email the shelter staff at animal.control@co.beaufort.nc.us or call (252) 946-4517. Tell them you are contacting them about Animal ID : 22742315.

Adoption fee is $65 which includes spay/neuter, vaccines, microchip and deworming. Approved 501c3 rescues can pull for $15. Someone has to come to the shelter to adopt or pull Diva — the shelter will not arrange transport.

We are sharing this at the request of volunteers at the shelter who love Diva and want to help her, but we do not have any other information about her. Please do what you can for this sad, beautiful dog!

JACK is a gentlemanly 2-year-old brindle male Short Haired Chihuahua/Terrier mix who was found in Baldwin Park on May 7th and brought to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center. Weighing just over 7 lbs, Jack is a little tail-wagging snuggler who has a beautiful and rare coat for his breed—wiry and brindle colored. Shy at first in the shelter environment, he warms up after only minutes and becomes friendly with both humans and canines alike. He also happens to have the most adorable habit of prancing on leash! Jack will make a stellar indoor pet and lap pal for any individual or family with older children (who can be careful not to injure his small frame) living in any situation. Jack’s Impound Number is A4706546. For more information on Jack, please contact his Adoption Coordinator Jana at 857-998-7970 or the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center at 626-962-3577.
